History

2004-2005: Cargill starts the construction of a refinery/bottling plant in Efremov (Tula Region) in Russia. Cargill Oil Packers plans to increase the market position of "Sunny Gold" in the Russian market.

2004-2005: Cargill acquires a part of "Topway Industries" and "Olop Ulei" in Romania. aOP becomes owner of the bottled oil brands "Bunica", "Olpo" and "Gospodina".

01/01/2003: Cargill acquires the 50% share holding of Vandemoortele in Cargill Oil Packers. The company becomes the European Bottled Oils division of Cargill.

01/08/1998: Cargill Oil Packers is founded as a Joint Venture between Vandemoortele and Cargill. Both companies bring their assets and know how into this JV, creating an association of their bottling plants in Europe.
